EXECUTIVE
FUNCTIONING COACHING

Many bright, capable students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they have difficulty managing the skills needed to use that ability effectively. Executive functioning (EF) skills include organization, planning, time management, task initiation, sustained attention, and self-monitoring. When these skills are weak, students may appear disorganized, forgetful, or inconsistent, despite putting forth significant effort.

MindMap Tutoring's Executive Functioning Coaching program helps students develop the habits and strategies needed to succeed independently. Through individualized coaching, students learn how to manage assignments, prioritize responsibilities, organize materials, track deadlines, and approach challenges with greater confidence. Our neuropsychology-informed approach is tailored to each student's unique strengths and needs, focusing not only on today's assignments, but on building the lifelong skills that support academic success, self-confidence, and independence.
